I’ve shared several makeup looks with you, but I thought I’d share what a typical makeup day looks like for me. I went to the grocery store along with some other errands.
I always start the day with Josie Maran’s Argan Protect & Perfect skin tint with SPF 50, unless I decide to wear It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation or CC cream with SPF 50. The skin tint provides very light, sheer coverage and just gives an overall glow. Today, I decided to use hey honey concealer that I received in an Ipsy bag in place of Josie Maran’s chubby stick. I really like the hey honey concealer, and it gives slightly more coverage than Josie Maran’s. I then used Physician’s Formula Nude Glow as a blush and Laura Geller’s Bronzer for a bit of contour. To highlight, I used another product I received in an Ipsy bag – barfly Highlighter which is a cream highlighter. I finished off my look with It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Illumination pressed powder even though I prefer the loos version. But, I figured I’d keep experimenting as I hate to waste it or even send it back. I was able to get a better finish today with it.
I always like to use a lip scrub – Perfectly Posh Lemon Wedgie – during the winter. It keeps your lips hydrated and removes any dead skin cells that make your lips have virtually no color. I then topped that off with butter London Lush Lip Oil – a very sheer pink – and it’s soooo yummy. It keeps lips very soft and moisturized.
Here is the finished look:
Sorry for the last pick. It’s my rear-facing camera on my phone and is absolutely horrible! I almost forgot – I used Urban Decay liner in Perversion on the upper waterline to make my lashes look a bit thicker since I didn’t use mascara. I also used Laura Geller’s Kajal liner in brown on my lower waterline for a bit of depth.
So, that’s my typical makeup every day. I find it easier to go for a more natural look for doing simple errands or just hanging at home mostly.
What’s your typical makeup of the day? Do you go more natural or use a bit more coverage and other products?
As always, stay beautiful!
