I began my makeup today with the bare minimum. I had no intentions of putting on a full face of makeup. I kept my eyes very simple without any mascara. This is how I started.
As you can see, I originally kept it light and more natural. I applied a shadow base from IT Cosmetics over my entire lid to correct any discoloration. I then used a very light shimmer shadow on my lid close to my lashes. I always line my upper and lower waterline to add depth. I used an Urban Decay liner in black for my upper line and an Ulta beauty line in dark teal. I put a bit of concealer under my eyes to cover darkness, added IT Cosmetics Blush and lipstick, and applied some highlighter on my cheeks and the tip of my nose.
So, how did my makeup evolve? I just felt like experimenting. Most of the products used were from my IT Cosmetics beauty book I got for Christmas.
My finished face turned out like this:
I added an instagram filter and now realize that you really can’t see any of the colors I used! Oiy ve! Oh, well.
I do want to add that I cleansed my hair with WEN cleansing conditioner last night, added some WEN styling creme, and put my hair up into a clip before going to bed. Can I just tell you? WOW My hair never looked so good! I didn’t even to have to style it – how awesome is that? No tools, not a ton of product – nothing. I tried taking a pic of it, but it just wouldn’t work – I’m terrible at selfies! I have a natural wave to my hair, so basically when I removed the clip this morning, my hair had soft, beachy-like curls. I didn’t even have to use hairspray! Talk about easy – I will be doing that from now on. I have let it dry naturally before, but I never put product in beforehand, and I never slept with my hair up. Just a tip for anyone who’d like to try it. It really works!!

So, I’ve digressed a bit from the original topic, but I didn’t think it was necessary to write 2 separate posts.
Has anyone used cleansing conditioners before? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
As always, stay beautiful!
