Hey, beauties! So, here I sit with an MJ Care Acai Berry Sheet Mask on my face while going through some new jewelry I received today.
My friend sells Paparazzi Jewelry and streamed a show live on Facebook. It was rather cool, and the best part is that everything is only $5!! Those watching and purchasing were charged a $4 flat fee no matter the size of your order. I thought I’d share with you the pieces I bought!
I adore sea beads and love the color red! Obviously, this is a piece probably best saved for a special occasion, although I could see it being worn with a white tee and jeans or shorts. There are really no rules these days, are there?
Yes, more sea beads! I really love wearing bracelets like the ones shown above. They are so versatile and go with any outfit!
Turquoise is one of my favorite gemstones. Although not real, these look just like the real thing. I have to admit that the black and white bead bracelet above is not what I imagined! I’m not used to wearing such a huge bracelet, but I’m certainly opened to trying it!
Now that I’ve taken off my mask, which was a heavenly sensorial experience, I wanted to talk quickly about a highlighter I sampled today. I’ve been looking for a highlighter that would suit my fair skin tone. I wanted something like the following pic.
Maybelline Prismatic Highlighter has pinky undertones, which I feel would look better on my fair skin. However, when I sampled it, I was shocked at how much blatant glitter there was after applying on the skin. The color was on point with what I was looking for, but I certainly don’t want glitter on my face. New Year’s Eve? Sure, but not daily. Laura Geller has a baked gelato highlighter in Diamond Dust that I’ve been dying to try, but it’s definitely on the expensive side. I have many highlighters, but most of them lean toward the color gold, which I think looks amazing on medium-toned and darker skin colors.
If anyone has a cheaper alternative, I’d love to hear about it. The CVS I go to is very limited in their makeup selection. They have Physicians Formula, but they don’t have the Butter Highlighter. What??
I would have to take a ride to Ulta or Sephora, but they aren’t exactly in my backyard, and with my daughter being temporarily handicapped, it’s really difficult to get away.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
As always, stay beautiful!
